Aerial Indexes	Various aerial mosaics have been flown for many various projects in Lao. Date and resolution of the imagery varies between projects. The photos and indexes are available from the National Geography Department. Order and processing can be achieved in one day but may (or may not) require official government approval letter. More recent color aerial imagery is not currently available from NGD.
Aerial Mosaics Russian 1981 Campaign	An Aerial Photo Mosaic of the southern part of the Russian 1981 national was created by FSD using and very roughly geo-rectified. Ground resolution is approximately 5 meters. Imagery is Black and white. Product should be viewed as a rough but ready standard base map for overlay. FSD also prepared an index Actual photos can be obtained from NGD.
Census 2005	Lao has recently updated the National Census (in 2005). Results are still being processed by the National Statistics Office. NRA has already obtained updated GPS village locations (2004) for Bolikhamxay, Khammaune, Vientiane, Xaysomboon & Xiengkhouan Provinces.
Concessions	Numerous concession data from various sources (mostly Ministry of Land Management) No metadata available. Includes: Mining Concessions Economic Concessions Forestry Concessions
DEM	Digital Elevation Models (height above ground). Includes: Contours (digitized by MRC from US 1:50,000 Topographic sheets) DEM (produced by conversion of contours and from SRTM Space shuttle radar imagery (90 meter resolution).

Healthmap	In 2000, UXO Lao put together and released a very helpful compilation of basic Lao PDR topographic datasets (with metadata) from various sources. Indexes	Indexes for the various topographic map series that have covered Lao PDR. Includes indexes for : US 1:50,000 series US 1:250,000 JOGS Russian 1:100,000 Russian 1:200,000 Lao 1:100,000
Irrigation	Comprehensive national survey of current and potential irrigation projects.
Landcover	Various forest and land cover maps produced either by the MRC or by the Forest Inventory Planning Department, Min of Agriculture. Dates are 1997 and 2001. Accuracy is sometimes questionable.
LVIS	Lao Victim Information System. Data on UXO accidents and incidents as collected by UXO Lao (and the Handicap International 1997 study). Actual accident location is not recorded (only the village).
NGD	This is the most recent update of the national map of Lao PDR showing topographical features (i.e. natural and built environment). 1:100,000 scale based on 2001 imagery and completed by NGD recently with funding from JICA. Printed map sheets and digital datasets can be purchased from NGD. NRA has some of this data. Includes: Roads Rivers Railways Populated Areas Significant Buildings.
Northern Lao	Various files put together for an ADB project in Northern Lao (Phongsaly)
Operators	Contains data received from different UXO clearance organisations. Includes: Cleared Areas Marked Areas Surveyed Areas Work plan
Roads	Ministry of Transportation Roads
Satellites	Contains images (pictures) of the earth. Includes: Quickbird 1 meter color high resolution imagery (from Google Earth) National SPOT 10 meter color mosaic (Swedish donation to Department of Forestry 2001) Almost complete national coverage Multiple Aster, Landsat 5 & Landsat 7, scenes and mosaics of various dates (1970, 1990, 2000, 2005). Source is GLCF (and elsewhere).
